Claisebrook Cove is home to a variety of community groups aimed at stimulating the area's environmental, economic and social environment.
City Farm
City Farm is a former scrap metal yard located within the Claisebrook Cove redevelopment area that has been transformed into a thriving community garden focusing on the principles of sustainability and permaculture.
City Farm was formed in 1994 when the East Perth Redevelopment Authority offered the one-hectare site to the Planetary Action Network for the development of a sustainable agriculture project.
City Farm run guided tours, which cover history, permaculture principles, organic gardening, herbs and more. They conduct workshops on designing gardens, building composts, worm farms, recycling and plant propagation. For more information please contact Rosanne or Thom Scott on 9325 7229.
East Perth Crime & Safety Committee
The East Perth Crime and Safety Committee meet on the second Thursday of the month at 5.30pm at the Royal Bar & Brasserie. They are combined meetings with the WA Police. If you have anything you would like discussed please contact Khrys Thomas to have it added to the agenda. All are welcome.

St Bartholomew’s House
St Bartholomew’s House is a registered charity, providing stable, supportive and safe environments for people at risk of homelessness. The House was established to provide for the care, maintenance, welfare and integration of homeless men with the wider society.
